Enabling healthy monitoring habits: Intuitive interfaces with essential sleep alerts

Our task was to provide Tommee Tippee with user interface design concepts for their app. I had to ensure the interface was intuitive, easy to navigate, and presented relevant alerts and visual cues regarding the child's sleep status. The goal was to offer parents quick access to essential information, promoting a healthy monitoring routine while fostering peace of mind.

The Design Approach: Balancing Simplicity and Comfort

A central objective of the app was to provide parents with immediate reassurance about their child's well-being. To achieve this, I adopted a minimalistic approach, keeping screen information concise and utilising muted tones to create a soothing ambiance. The rounded brand typeface and soft icons further enhanced the design's gentle aesthetic.

Standardised navigation was implemented at the bottom of the screen, aligning with familiar app conventions. Additionally, a core circular graphic was incorporated across various screens, serving as a visual reference point for essential metrics, ensuring parents felt at ease.

Elevating the launch with the campaign Monitor less. Understand more.

In addition to the app a complementary launch campaign piece of creative was created. The line ‘Monitor less. Understand more.’ embodies the healthy approach to monitoring that Tommee Tippee wished to promote. Showing confident and relaxed parents in their own home taking a glance at the app mid-way through other tasks backs the messaging up visually.
