The brief was to refresh and extend the range for Tamrah, a Dubai based producer of the popular almond, date and chocolate snack. The challenge was to honour the existing brand equity while creating a fresh pack that would have more impact on shelf and online across UAE markets.

The concept

The new packs had to communicate ‘the taste of Dubai’ as Tamrah is a speciality from the region. I drew inspiration from Dubais rich heritage and redesigned the pack architecture, product photography and graphics to create a more consistent and appealing premium feel for the range.

The result

Traditional Arabic patterning was elevated with rich gold foil, adding an air of luxury and creating more continuity across the extended range. The result is a contemporary feeling range that honours and respects the brand heritage whilst allowing it to stand out in both retail and e-commerce environments.
